Gilberto Arosemena Callan, new partner of Infante & Pérez Almillano



Infante & Pérez Almillano (IPAL) is pleased to announce that as of February 1, 2023, Gilberto Arosemena Callan joins as a Partner of our law firm to assume the challenge of continuing to position IPAL as a leader in the legal market and expansion of services to international markets.


Gilberto has a consolidated national and international experience with more than 15 years in the practice of the profession, standing out in the areas of corporate and financial law, commercial law, foreign investment, real estate investment, estate planning and international corporate services. Areas in which prestigious rankings such as Chambers & Partners, Legal500, Private Client Global Elite, among others, have recognized his leadership.


He has been a proponent and member of the drafting committee of several draft laws that affect the financial sector in Panama. He is a regular speaker at conferences and specialized seminars organized by Chambers of Commerce and international associations on issues of Corporate Law, Investment in Panama and Real Estate Law. He is also the author of publications on asset Protection, among other legal guides.


Graduated in Law and Political Science from Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua, he has a postgraduate study in International Trade from Universidad Latinoamericana de Comercio Exterior; He holds a Master in Negotiation, Mediation and Arbitration, the first academic index of Universidad Latinoamericana de Comercio Exterior; a Specialization in Business Administration from Instituto de Empresa de Madrid; Master of Laws (LL.M.) with honors from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in Chicago.


Likewise, he is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) - Panama Chapter. He is the president of the Board of Directors of Club Unión (2022-2023), President of the Board of Directors of United Way Panama, and pro bo no legal advisor to several non-profit organizations.
